- One must be "born again" by the blood of Jesus Christ (the virgin born God-man)
if he/she is to enter heaven. There is no other way other than the "new birth".

To The Blind Doctrinal Position
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
John 3:3 and 7
- The authority of the Scriptures. By the Scriptures I mean those which were translated
from the Textus Receptus into the KJV-1611 version.
II Timothy 3:16
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."
- The priesthood of the believer. We can go directly to God through Jesus Christ! We
need no man as a mediator.
I Timothy 2:5
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"
I Peter 2:9
"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"
- There are two ordinances (1) Baptism (by immersion after salvation) and (2) the Lord's Table.
These are reserved for believers and also in this order. These ordinances are given
to the local, New Testament Church.
"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."
"And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing."
II Corinthians 11:23
"For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body."
- The independence of the local church. The New Testament clearly teaches the authority
of the local church over its people in that community.
I Corinthians 1:2
"Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:"
"Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:"
Revelation 2 and 3 show seven separate local churches
S- The separated Christian life. A Christian should be separated from the world in his/her
deeds. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, thus we should be as pure as
possible. We are a "peculiar people" and others should be drawn to Christ by our
conversation and lifestyle. One test of our separation, in my view, is the personal
emphasis we place on soul winning (Proverbs 11:30) in our own lives. A born again
believer should be a soul winner and an active member of an independent, Bible believing
Baptist church in his/her community!
I John 2:15
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
I Corinthians 6:19
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your
spirit, which are God’s.”
T - The Spirit controlled life. Our lives should be directed by the Spirit of God.
No tongues, but our lives should demonstrate to others that God is in control of
what we do and say.
1 Corinthians 6:20
“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your
spirit, which are God’s.”
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
II Corinthians 3:3
